Ⅰ.Hainan Statistical Yearbook 2020 is an annual statistical publication which covers statistical data for the economic and social development of 19 cities,counties and Yangpu Economic Development Zone in year 2019,as well as major statistical data in important historical years. Ⅱ.The Yearbook contains twenty-five chapters:1.General Survey;2.Population;3.National Accounts;4.Employment and Wages;5.Prices;6.People’s Living Conditions;7.Government Finance;8.Resources and Environment;9.Energy;10.Investment in Fixed Assets;11.Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation;12.Agriculture;13.Industry;14.Construction;15.Real Estate;16.Wholesale and Retail Trades,Hotels and Catering Services;17.Tourism;18.Transport,Postal and Telecommunication Services;19.Financial Inter mediation;20.Science and Technology;21.Education;22.Public Health and Social Services;23.Culture and Sports;24.Public Management,Social Security and Social Organizations;25.Urban and,Rural.Each chapter begins with Brief lntroduce to the main content,data sources,statistical method of this chapter,etc.Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators are provided at the end of each chapter to briefly describe the content of main statistical indicators,statistical scope and so on. Ⅲ.The statistical approach and scope in this yearbook base on the current national statistical report system basically.Data are mainly obtained from annual statistical reports and sample surveys of government statistical departments,some from annual statistical reports of government or administrative departments. Ⅳ.The units of measurement used in this yearbook are internationally standard measurement units.Newly published and implemented Product Categories are uniformly used. Ⅴ.Statistical discrepancies on totals and relative figures due to rounding are not adjusted in the Yearbook. Ⅵ.Notations used in the Yearbook:(blank space) indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table,or data unknown or not available;“#” indicates a major breakdown of the total.

Zhejiang Statistical Yearbook 2020 is an annual statistics publication,which contains very comprehensive statistics of Zhejiang’s social and economic development in 2019 and selected data since China adopted the policy of reforming and opening to the outside world. The yearbook is composed of 18 parts.1.General Survey 2.Population and Employment 3.Investment in Fixed Assets 4.Prices 5.People’s Livelihood 6.Agriculture 7.Industry and Energy 8.Construction 9.Transportation,Posts and Telecommunications 10.Wholesale and Retail Sale Trade and Catering Trade 11.Foreign Economy and Trade,Tourism 12.Public Finance,Banking and Insurance 13.City Construction and Environment 14.Education,Science,Patent,Surveying and Mapping and Standard Calculating 15.Culture,Sports and Public Health 16.Archives,Judicature,Social Welfare and Labour Union 17.Major Indicators of National Economy by City and County 18.Appendix(Confidence Index,Input Output table).In addition,brief notes are placed at lower part of some tables and explanatory notes on main indicators are provided at end of each part. The statistics in former statistical yearbook have already been checked.The data in this yearbook shall be regarded as authentic ones.The footnotes are placed at the last page,if the table is a continued one. Notations used in this yearbook: “…”indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table.“#”indicates the major items of the total.“blank”indicates that the data is unavailable. Ⅰ.China Statistical Yearbook 2020 is an annual statistical publication,which reflects comprehensively the economic and social development of China.It covers data for 2019 and key statistical data in recent years and some historically important years at the national level and the local levels of province,autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government. Ⅱ.The Yearbook contains twenty-eight chapters:1.General Survey;2.Population;3.National Accounts;4.Employment and Wages;5.Prices;6.People’s Livelihoods;7.Government Finance;8.Resources and Environment;9.Energy;10.Investment in Fixed Assets;11.International Trade and Economic Cooperation;12.Agriculture;13.Industry;14.Construction;15.Wholesale and Retail Trades;16.Transport,Postal and Telecommunication Services,and Software Industry;17.Hotels,Catering Services and Tourism;18.Financial Inter mediation;19.Real Estate;20.Science and Technology;21.Education;22.Public Health and Social Services;23.Culture and Sports;24.Public Management,Social Security and Social Organizations;25.Urban,Rural and Regional Development;26.Main Social and Economic Indicators of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;27.Main Social and Economic Indicators of Macao Special Administrative Region;28.Main Social and Economic Indicators of Taiwan Province.One chapter listed as Appendix is Main Social and Economic Indicators of Other Countries/Regions. To facilitate readers,the Brief Introduction at the beginning of each chapter provides a summary of the main contents of the chapter,data sources,statistical coverage,statistical methods and historical changes.At the end of each chapter,Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators are included. Ⅲ.The national data in this book do not include those of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region,the Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province,except for the divisions of administrative areas,the area of the national territory and forest resources and otherwise specified.In accordance with the principles set down in the Basic Law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region,and the Basic Law of Macao Special Administrative Region,statistically Hong Kong,Macao and the mainland of China are three mutually independent regions,each following its own and different statistical systems and legal provisions in conducting statistical operation independently.Statistics on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region as included in this yearbook are provided by the Census and Statistics Department of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Statistics and Census Service of the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region respectively;and are edited by the National Bureau of Statistics. Ⅳ.Eastern region,central region,western region and northeastern region in the Yearbook are divided as following: Eastern region with 10 provinces(municipalities) includes:Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Fujian,Shandong,Guangdong and Hainan; Central region with 6 provinces includes:Shanxi,Anhui,Jiangxi,Henan,Hubei and Hunan; Western region with 12 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities) includes:Inner Mongolia,Guangxi,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Tibet,Shaanxi,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia and Xinjiang; Northeastern region with 3 provinces includes:Liaoning,Jilin and Heilongjiang. Ⅴ.The units of measurement used in the Yearbook are international standard measurement units,and newly published and implemented Product Categories are uniformly used. Ⅷ.In comparison with China Statistical Yearbook 2019,following revisions have been made in this new version in terms of the statistical contents and in editing.In the chapter on “National Accounts”,value-added by sector is added in gross regional product by region,and so are other indicators on “actual final consumption and its composition”,“gross primary income of enterprises,general government and households sector and share”,and “gross disposable income of enterprises,general government and households sector”.In the chapter on “People’s Livelihoods”,“consumption in services” is added in consumption expenditure.In the chapter on “Science and Technology”,information on “expenditure on innovation of industrial enterprises above designated size by industrial sector” and “expenditure on innovation of industrial enterprises above designated size by status of registration” is included.In chapters on “Wholesale and Retail Trades” and on “Hotels,Catering Services and Tourism”,indicators on “total fixed assets”,“revenue from principal business”,“cost of principal business”,“taxes and other charges on principal business” and “profits from principal business” are changed to “net value of fixed assets”,“business revenue”,“business cost”,“taxes and other charges” and“total profits”.

Ⅲ.In comparison with the Fujian Statistical Yearbook 2019 following revisions have been made in this new version in terms of the statistical contents and in editing: 1.Years mainly uniformed justment 2000,2005,2010,2018,2019 five years.2.According to the new situation of the annual report system changes,some statistical indexes of the text and the adjustment of the standard. Ⅳ.The data of Jinmen county are not included in this yearbook except for some additional notes on it.
