Ⅰ.Fujian Statistical Yearbook-2014 is an annualstatistic publication of comprehensive information with highly density. Theyearbook covers very comprehensive data in 2013 and some selected data seriesin important years of provincial and regional levels and in differentdepartments , reflects various aspects of Fujian social and economicdevelopment.

Ⅱ.The yearbook contains twenty-two chapters: 1.GeneralSurvey;2.National Economy Accounting;3. Population,Employment and Wages;4.Investment in Fixed Assets;5 .Foreign Trade;6. Energy;7. Ⅲ. In comparison with the Fujian StatisticalYearbook-2013, following revisions have been made in this new version interms of the statistical contents and in editing:

1.The order of the individual chapters haveadjusted,General Survey increase the basic Unit of theAnnual Report Legal Entity.2.Years mainly uniformed adjustment2000,2005,2010,2012,2013 five years. 3. According to the new situation of theannual report system changes, some statistical indexes of the text and theadjustment of the standard.

Ⅳ.The data of Jinmen county are not included in thisyearbook except for some additional notes on it.

Ⅴ.Data source, calculation scope for importantstatistical data in this yearbook are noted in each chapter.

Ⅵ.The units of measurement used in this yearbook arenational standard measurement units.

Ⅶ. 2013 is the economic census year,It takes a periodof time to review Each major census data,So part of the data by Sector inChapters are the preliminary accounting number in 2013 and preliminary verifiednumber in 2012.

Ⅷ. As a result of the different unit choices,part ofthe total or relative data produce calculation error in The yearbook,we do notmechanical adjustment.

Ⅸ. Notations used in the yearbook: “Blank Space” indicatesabsence or ignorance or insufficient decimal place of data indicator; “#” indicates a majorbreakdown of the total.

Ⅹ.The indicator of production value in this yearbook iscalculated according to prices of the year. Growth rate and indices ofproduction value is calculated according to comparable prices.

Ⅺ.Growth rates and indices in this yearbook arecalculated by “level approach”.

EDITOR’S NOTES:
Ⅰ. Chongqing Statistical Yearbook 2014 is a large statistical yearbook compiled by Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and NBS Survey Office in Chongqing and published by China Statistics Press, which records the economic construction and social development of Chongqing in an all-round way. The yearbook covers the comprehensive data on Chongqing’s social and economic development in 2013 and some major years in the history, as well as the major statistics on all the districts and counties (autonomous counties).
Ⅱ. The yearbook contains 21 chapters, namely 1. Comprehensive Statistics;2. National Economic Accounting;3. Population and Employment;4. Investment in Fixed Assets;5. Energy Consumption;6. Government Finance;7. People’s Livelihood and Prices;8. Urban Construction;9. Resources and Environment;10. Markets of Key Factors;11. Agriculture and Rural Economy;12. Industry;13. Construction;14. Transport, Postal and Telecommunication Services;15. Domestic Trade;16. Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Tourism;17. Financial Intermediation;18. Education, Science & Technology and Culture;19. Public Health, Sports and Other Social Activities;20. Districts;21. Resettlement of Chongqing Reservoir Area of Three Gorges Project. There is also an Appendix which covers the main data of the whole nation and other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. There is a Brief Introduction at the beginning of each chapter, which introduces the main contents of the chapter and the sources of data. The Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators is provided at the end of each chapter.
Ⅲ. The data in this publication: the Economic Census was carried out in 2013, so most of the data are obtained from the instant statistical reports, while some others are obtained from sample surveys.
Ⅳ. The units of measurement used in this yearbook are international standard measurement units; and the basis of classification of this book complies with the national uniform standard.
Ⅴ. The statistical discrepancies of the total values or relative values due to rounding are not adjusted in this yearbook.
Ⅵ. The notes concerning individual indicators are placed at the lower part of the table or the lower part of the last page.
Ⅶ. Notations used in this yearbook: (blank space)indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table, or data are unknown, or are not available; “#” indicates a major breakdown of the total.

EDITOR’S NOTES:
Ⅰ. The Anhui Statistical Yearbook 2014 is an annual statistics publication, which systematically covers statistics—for 2013 at provincial and local levels for the city and county. It reflects statistics during the period of the “eleventh-five-year-plan” at the provincial level, mainly showing various aspects of the new achievements that the people in Anhui made in terms of economic construction and social development since the period of the “twelfth five-year-plan.”

Ⅱ. The Anhui Statistical Yearbook 2013 newly adds the annual average wage of employees of urban non-private units, the number of legal entity units of the non-public economical enterprises and legal entity units of middle and small-micro enterprises ; the basic situation of private education, archives work, family planning, sports lottery, welfare lottery; the main economic indicators of key enterprises of service industry by industry, the main economic indicators of the central 6 provinces of the national economy and social development etc.

Ⅲ. This book contains the following 24 parts and appendices: General Survey; National Accounts; Population; Employment and Wages; Investment in Fixed Assets; Production and Consumption of Energy; Finance, Banking and Insurance; Price Indices; People’s Livelihood; General Survey of Cities; Environmental Protection; Agriculture; Industry; Construction; Transportation, Postal and Telecommunication Services; Domestic Trade; Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation; Tourism; Education and Science; Public Health and Social Services; Culture and Sports; Public Management and Others; Business Survey of Enterprises; Main Economic Indicators and Their Orders of Precedence for Provinces and Countries. The appendix includes: observation and survey of poor countries and basic situation of the whole province, organizational towns’ basic situation, and so on. To help readers further understand and make use of the data, each part is supplemented by a brief introduction and explanatory note on the main statistical indicators, introducing statistical coverage and statistical methods.

Ⅳ. In 2012, We use the new classification of national economic industries (GB/T4754-2011).

Ⅴ. The units of measurement used in this book are internationally standardized measurement units.

Ⅵ. Notations used in this book: (blank space)indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table, or data are unknown ,or are not available; “#” indicates a major items of the total.

VII. Statistical discrepancies due to rounding are not adjusted in this book. Anhui Statistical Yearbook is compiled bilingually in Chinese and English and a magnetic CD-ROM has been published to form a complete set.

I. China Statistical Yearbook 2013 is an annual statistical publication, which reflects comprehensively the economic and social development of China. It covers data for 2012 and key statistical data in recent years and some historically important years at the national level and the local levels of province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government.

Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation; 7. Resources and Environment; 8. Energy; 9. Government Finance; 10. Price Indices; 11. People’s Living Conditions; 12. General Survey of Cities; 13. Agriculture; 14. Industry; 15. Construction; 16. Transport, Postal and Telecommunication Services; 17. Wholesale and Retail Trades; 18. Hotels, Catering Services and Tourism; 19. Financial Intermediation; 20. Education, Science and Technology; 21. Public Health and Social Services; 22. Culture and Sports; 23. Public Management, Social Security and Others; 24. Main Social and Economic Indicators of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR); 25. Main Social and Economic Indicators of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR). Two chapters listed as Appendices are Main Social and Economic Indicators of Taiwan Province and A Comparison of Indicators of Economy and Society among the People’s Republic of China and Other Countries/Regions. To facilitate readers, the Brief Introduction at the beginning of each chapter provides a summary of the main contents of the chapter, data sources, statistical scope, statistical methods and historical changes. At the end of each chapter, Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators are included.

III. The national data in this book do not include those of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province, except for the divisions of administrative areas, the area of the national territory and forest resources. In accordance with the principles set down in the Basic Law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Basic Law of Macao Special Administrative Region, statistically Hong Kong, Macao and the mainland of China are three mutually independent regions, each following its own and different statistical systems and legal provisions in conducting statistical operations independently. Statistics on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region as included in this yearbook are provided by the Census and Statistics Department of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Statistics and Census Services of the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region respectively; and are edited by the National Bureau of Statistics.

IV. Eastern region, central region, western region and northeastern region in the Yearbook are divided as following:

Eastern 10 provinces (municipalities) include: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong and Hainan;

Central 6 provinces include: Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei and Hunan;

Western 12 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) include: Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang;

Northeastern 3 provinces include: Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang.

V. The units of measurement used in the Yearbook are internationally standard measurement units, and newly published and implemented Product Categories are uniformly used.

VI. Please refer to the newly published version for more precise historical data. Statistical discrepancies on totals and relative figures due to rounding are not adjusted in the Yearbook.

VII. Notations used in the Yearbook:(blank space) indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table, or data are unknown, or are not available; “#” indicates a major breakdown of the total; and “*”or “①”indicates footnotes at the end of the table. About the notations in the chapters of Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, please refer to the brief introduction in relevant chapters.

VIII. In comparison with China Statistical Yearbook 2012, following revisions have been made in this new version in terms of the statistical contents and in editing: The original chapter of “Resources and Environment” moves to Chapter 7; Some obsolete or duplicate indicators have been deleted, and some tables have been integrated; According to departmental reporting system, some professional contents have been adjusted; Classification for national standard of industry classification is implementing new version of 2011 except legal entities, national accounts, energy, prices and others notified.
