Ⅰ.Tianjin Statistical Yearbook is a large-sized statistics publication to reflect various aspects of Tianjin’s economic and social development,which was started in 1984 and published year after year,having formed a series of yearbooks.Tianjin Statistical Yearbook 2021 takes Tianjin economic and social statistics of 2020 systematically,and other statistics of main years.The book is written in Chinese & English,and is equipped with electric CD. Ⅱ.Written materials in the book include Statistical Communique on the 2020 National Economic and Social Development of Tianjin,Analysis of Tianjin Economic Situation 2020,Achievement of National Economic and Social Development of Tianjin in the Thirteenth Five Year Plan Period.In order to help readers using these statistical materials better,Subject Index is used to describe the framework of the book,and Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators are attached after each chapter. Ⅲ.The major data sources of this book are obtained from annual professional statistical report,a few from sample surveys and departments’ statistics. Ⅳ.The units of measurement used in this book are internationally stander measurement units;sector listed in this table is classified by the standard of GB/T 4754-2017.When calculating per capital indicators,we use permanent population. Ⅴ.Statistical discrepancies due to rounding are not adjusted in this book. Ⅵ.Notations used in this book:”blank” indicates the data not available or the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table.”#” indicates the major items of the total. Ⅶ.As a result of keeping consistent with data of census,surveys and checks,the change of national statistics system and adjustment of figures provided by departments some data in this yearbook is different from former yearbook.When using historical data,users should take the data of this book as standard. Ⅲ.Compared with Sichuan Statistical Yearbook 2020,the Yearbook adds data on the aggregate,speed,proportion and composition of the main indicators of national economic and social development since The 100th anniversary of the founding of the party,and number of legal entities by sector,industry and region in Chapter 1 “General Survey”;adjusts classification of employment,total wage and average wage partially in Chapter 4 “Employment and Wages”;delete “The Growth of Item Investment in Fixed Assets” and “Floor Space of Buildings under Construction and Completed by Region” in Chapter 5 “Investment in fixed assets”;Revise “Basic Reserves of Major Minerals” to “Ensured Reserves of Major Minerals” in Chapter 7 “Resources and Environment”;delete “Basic Statistics on State Farms of Land Reclamation” in Chapter 13″Agriculture”;add “Loan Price Rates of Financial Institutions” in Chapter 19 “Finance and Insurance”;adjusts the data of State-owned Research and Development Institutions and Information and Literature Institutions at and above County Level by Region to “Personnel,Income and Expenditure of Scientific Research and Technology Service Institution by Region” in Chapter 20 “Education,Science Technology and Patents”. Ⅳ.In this yearbook,the relevant department statistics are provided by relevant departments at the provincial level. Ⅴ.For updated historical date,please refer to the newly published version of the Yearbook. Ⅵ.The units of measurement used in this yearbook are international standard measurement units. In brief introduction at the beginning of each chapter,main coverage of this chapter,data sources and statistical coverage are concerned.In addition,explanatory notes on main statistical indicators are provided at the end of each chapter,giving a brief explanation of statistical indicators,such as definition,statistical methods,statistical coverage and statistical scope. Appendixes contain the main economic indicators of some other provinces(municipality),international statistics,Shandong Statistics Communique and Shandong Statistical Undertaking.Shandong Statistical Undertaking contains Summary and Events of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Statistics.
