Ⅰ.Hunan Statistical Yearbook 2022 is an annual statistical publication,which reflects comprehensively the economic and social development of Hunan.It covers data for 2021 and key statistical data in some historically important years at provincial level and local levels of cities,prefecture and counties. Ⅱ.Hunan Statistical Yearbook 2022 includes a special issue and statistical figures.The special issue are 2022 Hunan Provincial Government Work Report and Hunan Province Statistical Communiqué for the 2021 National Economic and Social Development.The statistical data contain the following 22 parts:1.General Survey;2.National Accounts;3.Population;4.Employment and Wages;5.Prices;6.People’s Livelihoods;7.Investmentin Fixed Assets;8.Foreign Economy,Tourism and Development Zones;9.Energy;10.Government Finance,Banking and Insurance;11.Construction of Cities and Environmental Protection;12.Agriculture;13.Industry;14.Construction;15.Transportation,Post,Telecommunication and other Services;16.Wholesale and Retail Trades,Hotels and Catering Services;17.Education,Science and Technology;18.Culture,Sports and Public Health;19.Party and Mass,Politics and Law,Social Service;20.Regional Economy;21.Main Economic and Social Statistics Indicators of Cities and States;22.Main Economic and Social Statistics Indicators of Counties andCities(districts).To facilitate readers,at the end of each chapter,Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicatorsare included. Ⅲ.The Chang-Zhu-Tan City Clusters in this yearbook includes Changsha city,Zhuzhou city and Xiangtan City;The Rim Chang-Zhu-Tan City Clusters consists of Changsha,Zhuzhou,Xiangtan,Hengyang,Yueyang,Changde,Yiyang and Loudi;Southern Hunan includes Hengyang city,Chenzhou city and Yongzhou City;Great Xiangxi Region includes Xiangxi Auto nomous Prefecture,Huaihua city,Zhangjiajie City,Shaoyang City and Loudi City;Dongting Lake includes Yueyang,Changde,Yiyang. Ⅳ.Compared with Hunan Statistical Yearbook 2021,this yearbook has made the following revisions in terms of content and chapter structure:the list of substitute teachers and temporary workers in all types of schools,the list of basic information about tourism,the list of the number of international tourists and the number of peopleper day,the list of foreigners received by country,the list of star-rated hotels by city and state,and the list of basic information about tourism by city and state were deleted. Ⅴ.The yearbook is edited according to the frame and standard of China Statistical Yearbook.The indicator explanatory notes are edited according to China Statistical Yearbook.The units of measurement adopted in China Statistical Yearbook are internationally unified standard. Ⅵ.The historical data involved in this yearbook are subject to the latest edition of this yearbook;No mechanical adjustment has been made for the calculation errors caused by different units of total or relative data inthis yearbook. Ⅶ.The 2021 national economic accounting data in this yearbook are express data.The data used in 2022 Hunan Provincial Government Work Report and Hunan Province Statistical Communiqué for the 2021 National Economic and Social Development are all express numbers or preliminary statistics. Ⅷ.Notations used in the yearbook:(blank space) indicates that data are unknown,or are not available,or thefigure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table;”#” indicates the major items of thetotal.
