The Educational Statistics Yearbook of China(2021) is an informational yearbook comprehensively reflecting the development of the educational undertaking of the People’s Republic of China, and it was compiled by the Department of Development and Planning of Chinese Ministry of Education, based on the synthetic statistical returns relating to schools of various types and levels completed by the Provincial Education Department(or the Educational Commissions ) of the provincial governments and the governments of various autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the State Council. All data were processed and calculated using Computers by the Educational Management Information Center of Ministry of Education.
This yearbook is composed of following parts:summary tables，higher education，secondary education，primary education，special education, preprimary education，geographical distribution of schools by type and level，Physical Facilities，Scientific Research Activities，etc. The yearbook is a requisite reference for all departments concerned with the study of educational reform and development.
The national statistics covered in this yearbookdo not include data from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region，the Macao Special Administrative Region，and Taiwan Region. Data from the Skilled Workers School administered by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China are not included in this yearbook. The Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools with Legal Personality refers to Chinese一Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and Cooperation in Running Schools
between mainland educational institutions and educational institutions from the HKSAR，the MSAR or Taiwan with Legal Personality. All data, without specific notes，were collected in 2021.

China Energy Statistical Yearbook is an annual statistical publication,which covers very comprehensive data in energy construction,production,consumption,equilibrium of supply and demand in an all-round way,established in 1986,edited by Department of Industry and Transport Statistics,National Bureau of Statistics.2008 annual is edited by Department of Energy Statistics,National Bureau of Statistics,published by China Statistics Press,to the domestic and international public publication. In order to satisfy the masses of readers’ demands for China energy statistics,improve the efficiency and timeliness of the data use,since 2004,China Energy Statistical Yearbook is published one volume every year instead of one volume every 2 years. China Energy Statistical Yearbook consists of seven chapters:1.General Survey;2.Construction of Energy Industry;3.Energy Production;4.Energy Consumption;5.Energy Balance Table of China;6.Energy Balance Table by Region;7.Energy data for Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region.Additional information provided in the appendices include major energy data for Taiwa,energy data for related countries or areas,explanatory notes of main statistical indicators and conversion factors from physical units to coal equivalent. Annual statistical reports from the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Statistical Yearbook are the main data sources of this document.However,the national data in this book does not include that of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region,the Taiwan.Also,the data in the energy balance tables does not cover non-commercial energy.The Tibet energy balance data is unavailable yet. The China energy data were by the year of 2020,energy data for the world and other countries or area were by the year of 2019.Statistical discrepancies on totals due to rounding are not adjusted in the yearbook. Notations used in the yearbook:(blank space and-) indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table,or data are unknown or are not available;”#”indicates a major breakdown of the total. Classification for national standard of industry classification is implementing new version of 2017 except legal entities.

It should be noted that the development of the National Productivity Promotion Centerwill be affected by the epidemic in 2021,which will limit the comprehensiveness of the dataand will not be included this year. Except for the technical contract,the national statistical data involved in this book do notinclude the data of Hong Kong,Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province. The eastern,central,western and northeastern regions involved in this book arespecifically divided into: Eastern region:including 10 provinces and cities including Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Fujian,Shandong,Guangdong and Hainan;Central region:including 6 provinces including Shanxi,Anhui,Jiangxi,Henan,Hubei and Hunan;Westernregion:including 12 provinces and autonomous regions in Inner Mongolia,Guangxi,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Tibet,Shaanxi,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia and Xinjiang;Northeast China:including Liaoning,Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. China Statistical Yearbook on Science and Technology 2022 is prepared jointly by the Department of Social,Science and Technology,and Cultural Statistics National Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Strategy and Planning of Science and Technology.The Yearbook,which covers data series at the national,provincial and local levels,and autonomous regions,as well as departments directly under the State Council,reports on the development of China’s science and technology activities. Ⅰ.Background and Purpose Along with the establishment and improvement of the system of socialist market economy in China,the market-oriented pace of the rural economy has been accelerated.The market plays more and more important role in production and trade of agricultural products.Therefore,the government and publics have increasingly more demand for the information on the prices of agricultural products.In order to fit in with this situation,Department of Rural Surveys National Bureau of Statistics has been carrying out surveys on the prices of agricultural products to monitor the movement of the related prices and to maintain the agricultural accounting system,through its survey teams locating all over the country since 2003.The purpose of this book is to provide the price information of agricultural products to government agencies at various level,the research institutions,agricultural holdings as well as other publics for the decision-making and analyzing the supply and demand relations of the agricultural products,the market competition of agricultural products and the agricultural restructure,the farmers income and resident consumption,etc. Ⅱ.Contents and Methodology The contents of this book include:the chart of price movement of agricultural products,the producer price indices of agricultural products,the prices of agricultural products at the rural market fairs.The producer price of the agricultural product is the price of the unit product,at which the producer of the agricultural product,i.e.the agricultural household or the farm,directly sells the product.The producer prices of agricultural products are the bases of the prices of the agricultural products at the rural market fairs as well as the wholesale prices and consumer prices.National Producer Prices Survey of agricultural products is a sample survey with its sample units selected with random sampling method.A total of 20000 units engaged in agricultural production have been selected in the whole country,in which the agricultural households account for one third and the farms account for two thirds.The survey covers 180 representative agricultural products in four categories of farming,forestry,livestock and fishery.Survey of Agricultural Products Prices at Rural Market Fairs is a survey on the prices of 31 agricultural products in 200 major producing counties and cities conducted for reflecting the trading prices of the staple agricultural products in the major producing areas and the change of these prices. Ⅲ.Additional Notes While mainly presenting the survey data on the prices of agricultural products in 2021,this book also releases the series data on the prices of main agricultural products in China since 2000(The country’s aggregated data excludes Tibet,Hokong Special Administrative Region,Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province).The producer price indices take the prices in the preceding year or the prices at the same period of preceding year as 100.The unit of the prices of agricultural products at rural market fairs is unified to be Yuan/kg and two decimals are kept for the price data.In order to better reflect the change of the prices of agricultural products in China,we will periodically publish the China Yearbook of Agricultural Price Survey.Limit to our experiences and knowledge,some slips are inevitable in the book.We warmly welcome the comments or suggestion from our readers.
